    I had a much more reasonable 186* trans temp today. Then again, it was only 69* on the trip home.

    Yeah, is there any way to keep the trans temp lower without an external cooler?

    not really. I have the smallest ext cooler i could buy and the hottest i've ever seen it was 200*
