I did just a fluid and filter change and my pan is now back on, but I think I am going to pull the return line and do the converter fluid change too. I should have done the shift kit while I was at it. I looked again at TEP and it looks like the regular kit they sell is just the shift kit, and then they sell a shift kit combo that sounds like it also includes the filter and some other gaskets.
The kit should also prolong the life of the trans, correct? How long does it typically take to install the kit after the pan is dropped?
