I use a large center punch that is about a 3/4" diameter and has a long taper on the end. This works great and allows me to pry and move around the craddle so it lines up properly with the holes. I find often that most cars from the factory dont even have these holes lined up right and the car is aligned that way, so when you align the holes then the car has a pull to one side or the other because the alignment is off.
