okay so, i JUST changed the MASS sensor in my car about a week ago, because it went bad and was making my GT shift really funny (its an automatic)
well today i was driving the car and i started to notice that when i speed up it shifting funny again. This time its different, its much much much harder to notice then when the sensor went out, its like a very very light jolt feeling that I am feeling when the car shifts, and it makes a very quiet clicking sound.
In fact its SO hard to notice that I had to shut everything off and roll up the windows for my boyfriend to hear it, but once he did he said it wasn't normal. (his car knowledge is slim though)
my dad said that with as many miles as the car has feeling it shift isn't really a big deal, and that i shouldn't worry about it. It has 120,000 miles on it.
I recently have had the MASS changed, transmission serviced, serpentine belt changed, new brakes, and all of the sunroof and door drains blown out to make sure it wasn't causing any leaks.
anyway i'm really stumped and really nervous about this repair.
OH, and when the sensor went out I had the transmission checked thinking that was the problem (before i read the code) and they said it was perfectly fine...then again, not sure if i can trust them, but I was told the car was in peak running condition, especially sense the sensor is such a minor repair.
get back to me please. please please please![]()
