I saw a video on youtube of a guy who put a B&M Quicksilver into a 2000 Bonnie:
I was wondering if anybody else here has done this, and second, how you would go about doing this.
I have a 1997 GTP, btw.

because racekar?
abarth can't do wheelies.
hmmm
looks cool if you get the one with the butten on the side you could wiring up perf shift to that
i always had an idea of using perf shift as a way to make it a "manual" valve body by proagraiming the seprate perf shift tables to lock out the gears so it acts liek a manual valve body put it in 1 it's 1st gear put it in 2 second gear, exc, exc
or have it be a revears manual D is 1st, 3 is 2nd, 2 is 3rd and 1 is 4th
no idea if it would actualy work though been a few years sense i looked at the shift tables
Or jusy buy a manuel.....and stop trying to a ricecar driver
exactly my plan. hmm may have to test this with the 99 and depending how well it works add a perfomance shift to the 97. it will basicly just be Tap shift but with out the paddles
and about a manual yes that would be the better way to go but my effed up knee says noo to 3 pedals plus auto is more consistant with drag racing. a manual would be better with autoX or road course though. plus drag racers have been using manual valve body autos for years my '82 Grand Prix had one in it's THM350 it was a low 12 second car with it's 400hp olds 350 best high school car ever
^you sure can...might as well get a shopping cart wing and some stickers while we're at it. The b&m on its own isn't a horrid idea, but its an automatic trans, let it do what its designed to do.
So now it all comes down to which shifter I want:
quicksilver:
hammer:
Pro-ratchet:
bandit:
Thoughts?
