Bill and Brandon thanks for the vote of confidence, let me get an opinion if I may my car has 295,000 miles on it, runs fine but I know the day will come when I will need a new transmission. I plane on never getting rid of this car I have never rebuilt any kind of transmission FWD or RWD in my life, but I was thinking of pulling one from a salvage yard, getting a kit and rebuilding it then hold on to it for when and if this one goes, Biggest job I ever did in my life was a head gasket and cylinder head rebuild on a 1972 Mustang with a 351 Cleveland. Is this something I could do are there enough how to's and whatever out there and are the instruction with these kits complete enough or is this just a something if you don't know what you are doing because you have not done it before it just gets frustrating and I am better off to just not start it? BTW car is my daily drive that's why I'd like to have the trans ready to drop in when needed. Thanks in advance for your time
