I think you're referring to this guy...

Dave, thanks for chiming in. Hopefully some more information can be shared to everyone soon. I"d like to know more, especially if it means that there might be a 7/16" pitch chain made available to have as a spare for my GMR 1".

    Whatcha need?

If you search google: "4t65e cobalt gmr" you'll find a GM Tuner Source .pdf. Download it, you'll get the specs on the GM race trans, including information on the chain.

    I have: CTP702 (1x7/16 Sprocket/Chain Set, (Ratio 2) 29 tooth drive, 31
tooth driven, 7/16 Chain, Drive Sprocket Support Assy.) 3.52 gear ratio. Whatever pictures you need let me know

Also, from what I've read the Volvo XC90 came with a 4t65e. A guy on 3800pro swapped diffs and threw it into his gtp. There may be a possibility that this could be the volvo trans people are referring to.

    Lol...

Check the shipping and handling. It adds enough to bring it up to 1900ish

The Volvo 4T65EV/GT transmission chain is the exact same dual chain setup that every other GM branded 4T65E uses. We have rebuilt lots of these transmissions from 99 S80s to 2005 XC90s, there is nothing special about their chain sets.
