Heres some info to start off,
1998 GTP with 2005 motor/trans swap, using genIII blower set-up,used my stock harness with stock ecu, re-pin the trans connector to have 3-4 gear, motor and trans has 25k.
First 20min of driving, trans shifts like champ no jerking no nothing.
Very smooth, but after about 30-45min of driving the trans starts to hard shift from 2-3-4. Feels like the convertor locks up way to soon, sometimes between 2-3 and maybe 1-2. trans fluid is pinkish red not burnt or brown color, And sometimes it will not downshift while i slow down. Feels like when i take of from slowing down im still in 4th gear. Let it sit for a couple of hours and its back to normal. im thinking its the
TCC/PCS solnoids. Now i would figure that would be the case for the convertor sticking to being locked, but i dont understand to why it would lock up the convertor why to soon.
Any insite would be great, but at the same time i dont need people telling me i need a rebuild right off the bat with out explaning your self to why!
Not in the mood for a $1000+ rebuild when it could have been $200 or less doing it my self.
I do have a SES light on but unsure what it is, im waiting for my scanner to come in to check it...Last time i did using my friends autozone scanner it showed a p0181 (fuel temp sensor, range/perofrmance) that im not understanding as well, because i have called the dealer and looked for it my self and still dont see it or been told that there is no such sensor!
