i got my 98gtp motor pulled and got the NIC cam in and received my tranny from Tim King and i go to bolt it up today and the flexplate bolts wont line up. did the flexplates change from 97-98 to 99+?? they are off by so much it would be really tough starting them. any ideas?

Being that it was from tim king, he probably put a 245mm race converter int there, you need an l36 flexplate.

There are two different bolt patterns, 245mm and 258mm (this is not L36 vs L67 or HD vs non-HD, it was dependant on the car). If you have a torque converter with a 245mm bolt pattern, you need a flexplate to match. There were no L67s that came with the 245mm bolt pattern AFAIK, so you would need to have one drilled. I would NOT suggest getting a flexplate from an L36 that has the right bolt pattern, the plates are weighted differently.
