Chances of breaking hard parts go up a bit, but there is less wear on the clutches.

so it would wear out my tranny faster but my clutch less? i just dont want it to cause a lot of wear on the gears and have to do a rebuild.

Well, I've got the ZZP kit in my, which I will probably get flamed for, but they make the shifts harder/faster. I decided to get mine when I changed the trans filter and but in Dex 6.

    It's worth it.

it depends on the kit. Intense makes a nice one and so does trans-go. I have a complete used intense shift kit with all necessary hardware and directions, pm me if your interested.

you can do anything that you can do with a 'shift kit' by tuning your transmission.

Can a tranny tune fix weak accumulator springs or leaky accumulator piston seals? Shift kits are good for parts in the tranny that control the shift timing such as the shims from ZZP limiting weak spring travel in the accumulator or the transgo kit that has new accumulator piston springs.

less clutch slippage, less friction, therefore less heat. you don't want a bang shift. that will be hard on parts. i have another car with more line pressure, Valvolene Dex VI, and the TransGo kit, and is great!
