you wont gain .2 tenths from ANY tb at your current mod level..if you decide to put it on your going to need to get it tuned and for the cost of that its not even worth it IMO
I keep telling you man...get a PCM. It shouldput you in the 14's right now if you know how to drive it and put the right fuel in it...as in 92 or so. You'd be better off just porting the stock L36 TB...and getting a MAF tune.
Actually bothered to do some research. Turns out with a stock crank pulley the Gen V M90 should only be run down to a 3" pulley. Any smaller and its no longer worth the added boost due to the temp rise. And thats what Eaton says...
So...... higher compression will take more advantage of the crappy M90.
ok well i whentto the track and my time is faster i whent from 15.3 to 15.2 with poly mounts and l67 tb
Thats within the margin of error for an average driver.
no my time started at like 15.5 and ive never gone 15.2 only lik 15.387
GT, GTP, GXP,
I'm constantly getting confused here as a mid 2000's GT is supercharged while an older one is not.
What does a stock GXP run in the 1/4?
After '05 they stopped making the GTP so the GT's were supercharged. The N/A ones were just labeled as "base". 97-03 were not supercharged. Shouldnt be much confusion there.
As for the GXP...depends on the driver. I saw a K&N CAI/Catback/DP GXP run 13.8's...so...maybe low low 14's?
