I've looked everywhere but have not found exact problem. I recently got this car and it had absolutely no gears except part. Pulled trans line off and no fluid flow. I knew pump was bad. Dropped trans and pulled off the pump and sure enough it was bad. Pulled rod and it was broke. Long story short, a magnet got out the end of the oil pump shaft easily from the torque converter. Had a parts trans sitting so pulled, inspected and installed the pump. Now the car has reverse and first. Will not even try to go into second. Pulled codes and no codes except o2 sensor heater circuit. Right after install it did have tcc code open, but cleared it and it never returned. All check balls where reinstalled where they came. I'm guessing there is a leak around the valve body but wanted to ask before I drop the trans again. Also, there is a 2 wire plug on top of the transmission that goes nowhere. I've looked but don't see anywhere it can go. I don't think that would be the issue but if it is that would be great. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Before anyone flames, I've looked everywhere for an answer, but it's either not exactly the same problem or the OP never put the solution. Thanks again.
