Is it even possible to install the kit without using a reamer tool? Or is there a different option out there to use other than a reamer tool?
Searching for a cheaper option. Reamer tool is $400. Sheeesh!

Or if valve body requires reaming?

One thing you could do is send the VB to TripleEdge and have them do all the upgrades. I've found that to be about the most cost effective to fix everything possible.
Sounds like a plan to me. Do you remember the estimated cost for the labor at all?

I think it was around $300, but give them a call and ask. I couldn't find it on the website.
Hey BillBoost37, I think I may just return the Sure Cure Kit and just purchase the AFL Valve repair kit from Superior since no reaming or special tool is required. Is there a TCC valve kit out there that requires no special tool to install?

Superior also makes a full valve body kit (Superior K4T65-E) that addresses the TCC valve. No special tools required. I've used it a couple times with good results. I talked to a couple local rebuilders about maybe borrowing the reamer (thinking surely they would have that tool) and they both said they just use the superior kit. I might be speaking out of turn, but I think the only time you NEED to ream is if there's damage to the bore.
The other thing I have sometimes done TCC related is the Sonnax TCC Relief Valve.
