Is there any of you guys in San Francisco bay area that knows of a good shop that can do a rocker and springs install for a decent price? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

any shop can do that. but I would go to a shop you trust. OR if you feel up to it try it yourself. Make sure you have a second car you can bum for a bit if things go south on ya

i did it my self, not hard at all, i know i am way behind on this but its not bad at all, you just a compression test kit, an air compressor and a spring compressor. I would suggest getting these from harbor freight. I went through 3 spring compressors, they just kept giving me new ones lol. the compression tester and air compressor are to keep the valves from dropping when you remove the retainers.
    xp'd

You're not way behind on this, I am because I still haven't installed them.LOL...... Man I'm struggling to find a shop that will do the install. To be honest, I don't really trust myself to do the work. Do you know a shop in the bay area you trust or would you be willing to help with the install, I'm willing to pay.

so i moved out to fairfield. where are you and what all do you have to install? I would like to teach a man to fish rather than give him a fish lol. And most likely I would not be able to do much until after the superbowl, my weekends are full right now.

How strong are the springs? I broke a new stock timing chain with 105# springs.

Also i dont trust a single shop. i only trust two other people to touch my cars besides me lol. No shop will really touch it as its a huge liability.

I'm about 45 mins away in San Leandro, I have family in Fairfield. I have 1.9 Yella Terra roller rockers with 90lb springs and retainers I'm looking to install. Yes, I'd rather learn to install rather than pay. I just think this one is a bit beyond my wrenching ability lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and yes the next few weekends are a bit busy for me as well.

Girlly man......LOL, I suppose I've been called worse lol. Yeah I agree with you, most shops are trying to reach into your pocket. Everything in my sig I've done on my own plus my LIM gaskets. I'm a little nervous about dropping a valve and having to pull the heads on my own...... that's a far beyond my wrenching abilities lol. By the way, are you one of the Sac guys? If you guys put a meet together, I'm down.
