I didn't think the price was that bad for a dealer. The exterior is good, Virginia title so "rust free" interior looks good no rims no tears. For some reason I love the orange color and they seem to be kinda rare. I've yet to see a 04 or 05 GTP for less then $4,500. If it was well taken care of it probably has a lot of life left.

but they did put the cheap ass window tint on it... $30,000 car and you cant pay $125 for decent window tint... that might reflect poor care of the car? maybe just me. I have a major pet peeve for faded purple window tint. You can cut corners on some things, but defiantly not window tint

Purple tint happens overtime it's a rather inexpensive fix.. Regardless they are still asking to much for a car with 150k+ w/ that kind of mileage I would expect something pricey to give out. Which isn't a big deal if your not spending to much on the car it leaves wiggle room for repair but assuming that your going to take a loan for it.. If something major goes wrong i hope your able to manage nut if your able to unload the Grand Am for a decent price I guess it could be worth it.

You never know until you try.. What's the kbb value.

Worth a shot. Thats the bad thing about dealers/used car lots. You will always overpay because they want a profit. Id be worried at that mileage with trans issues in the future.

Kbb from a dealer is $5,327... so I highly doubt I could haggle him over the phone without seeing it in person, hes like 5 hours from me.

4k would be the max id pay for it just because of mileage. gl tho

I can see haggleing with a private seller, it would be much harder with a dealer. They have to make their nut.

what if the trans has been replaced recently? How much would you go?
