    Not sure your thoughts.

The trans in my Regal is built to a degree. It has a VB/CP done by Dave at TEP for ~450 CHP, All seals were done, clutches were clearanced, has V8 chains with 2.93 gearset, Intense 300M input shaft and ZZP aluminum finned oil pan with a Precision stock converter for an 00 Regal. Has ~65K miles on it currently and has been behind an L26 with no real mods for 55K of that, the first 10K was 1.9 rockers on a stock SC motor. I would sell the car as a whole (lots of great mods on the car including f bodies, aluminum oil pan, aluminum cradle, vogtlands, all rear suspension bars, GMPP sways, etc etc etc) Looking for $3k and willing to negotiate.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

That would be a badass car to own, Bill. What kind of shape is the body in? Details on rust areas?

Rockers need to be done, rear bumper and cover need to be replaced. Other than that.. the body has 256K on it. So it's not horrible and not spectacular either.

Still, 3K is probably well worth the parts alone! Shame I don't live closer.

How much would this local guy charge to build that? I'm in need of a trans myself and know that you're not too far from me. I'd just get a TEP trans if I could afford one right now.

Do you have the trans out or would you need one already built to swap out? What kind of HP are you looking to handle? I could build a trans for you, need to decide how far you want to go, what parts you want upgraded etc. I generally get parts from Dave @TEP If you figure out what mods you want to do I can get you a price to build it. I am in Lorain, OH I could probably meet you half way to pick up/return etc. Send me a PM if you are interested at all. Either of you. I built a trans for Snowflake that was handling 500whp until a sprag failed and that was not related to my build, just a hard part failure. Built my own trans for my turbo build, which hasn't hit the street yet, and been building transmissions for GM for a bunch of years as well. I don't think I have a spare core to build first so I would need to build one you provide.

Hey clay im not sure what he will charge but he is cheap 45/hr and he is very honest doesnt charge book time, and if he makes a mistake he will eat it. He has never done me wrong he takes a while to do stuff sometimes because hes busy. Ill let you know what he thinks it will cost but I can garantee it will be cheaper than anyone else I know he is one of the best tranny builders in the area too.

The tranny is not out but i could pull it, im looking to hold 400hp it will be at the drag strip ocasionally idk if i will use slicks but i would like to be able to without worrying. If you want to come up with a build price i will def consider. My plan is to use stage 2 rebuld kit, input shaft and 7/8 chain all of wich would be bought threw dave at tripple edge.
