Anyone parting out a 97-03 grand prix with auto hvac, need ac solenoid and maybe the blender door actuators and anything else pertaining to controlling the vents, mine was working but now back to a mixture of feet, defrost and face, I don't need the blower motor, let me know how much the stuff will be with shipping to 30711, thanks

I replaced the solenoid with a known good one worked for maybe 2 weeks and did it again so went to the junkyard and got one and it didn't work but as much as I can figure out its what controls what setting it's on, then there's blend door actuator which makes it hot and cold so that's not my problem cause mine is cold, then there's one more and both run off vacuum and not sure which is which but that's the 3 main things back there I think, is yours a 97-03 with auto air?

Yes its a 2000 with auto air. It only blows to the floor and defrost. Not to the regular vents, but it does blow cold.

You'll need to probably lay in the seat upside down and put your head were the blower is and look towards the outside of the car and it has 2 screws holding it in

They are somewhat high but here's a link and you can use this as a reference at the junkyard if you want
Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...847516&alt=web

On my auto ac controls the little person symbol sometimes flashes on then off quickly sometimes,is my HVAC control thing bad or could it be a relay under my dash?

your climate control its self maybe bad.

MACHETE , check for a broken vac line to the pass side fire wall if you not checked there yet. the line goes down the fender under the fuse box near the battery, it breaks there or off the n/a upper intake, or top of the blower. that line is where the vacuum starts to control that box under the dash.

This one goes from the intake down the strut tower and into the fire wall and any particular years go with each cause my 00 has a econ button this one doesn't

till you get another one pretty sure you can pull the lines off the vac modules in the dash, plug them lines, then move the linkage to vents. you may have to tie the linkage in place. or wedge something under the vac pumps lever. depends on if it needs to go up or down. theres one of them pumps on both side of the dash.

dont force it tho, its all plastic parts and can break.
