Only need welding every six months if done half assed the first time.
I needed rewelding because of my cam and the poly everything mounts and the ignorantly low idle and the crazy shifts in my built transmission.

Never had a problem you just need to know how to install them right, do NOT WELD them is key. Had one set for over 6 years and the two people after me haven't had any issue's with leaks. Just installed my new set on my current car and no leaks again.

I will update my post....no pacesetters or sd as I know they are ****. Youtube vid of a guys install of sd and they rest on fan. Also heard the 02 sensor likes to bash on the firewall.

Pacesetters fit great and are reasonable, but there's a way to install them I've been doing for years that works fyi. Only real issue is the collector room in the tunnel. Just my opinion

You are the reason i posted this.
As far as sd's go, if your running shorter dogbones its going to hit the fan. as far as the o2 goes, dont floor it in reverse and you have zero probs.
Dont go there. Sd's are not ****. They are cheap and get the job done with zero probs if your not stupid.

so go pay half the money your cars worth on slps or togs. Not trying to be a dick but these cars are old and not worth the money unless your a TFK (trust fund kid).

FWIW, I have the eBay stainless knockoffs....paid around $150-ish. They went in with no problems whatsoever. Keep in mind, I had the engine out when I installed them.

FWIW SD's aren't bad. $20 in clamps from Frozenboost.com and either slap a fresh bung for the o2 or slightly molest the firewall. I've got a few pictures of the necessary molestation if you'd like. And yes.. I use an air hammer with blunt tip
