Having no front plate displayed in IL can get you pulled over and might result in a ticket in case you were not aware of that.
Not worth seeing a cop in the ready fire position walking up to my car in the side view mirror for aesthetic looks. YMMV.

I don't think a cops going to draw his gun for lack of a front plate unless his extremely paranoid. Now if you have dark tint or driving like a crazy I can understand that.Originally Posted by Dans 01

The cop would have to be in a very bad or just being a d*** just to pull me over for that. Plus I do not live the city and kind of out in the country

Well, that idea didn't work. The guy replied back and said the plate was damaged. Are you near Marion IL? I suppose I could paint it gloss black with that plastic paint. Not sure how that would look.

I've found these at the junkyard too. My buddy opened up the trunk of a gp and it was in there. Paid 5 bucks for it and sold it for 40 in mint condition!

Check out a noob on here called parts lady I know she has them pretty she has a black one too last I seen. She has lots of trim parts shoot her a PM I know she has a post in the introductions section under title newbie lady her
