This is the car you're helping me get back on the road where she needs to be. I've worked really hard getting it from the 225$ POS to where it is now over the last 3 months. It had a snapped front sway bar, COMPLETELY rusted out rockers, brake lines and fuel lines. Broken trailing arm, bad fuel pump, no exhaust. The BOUNCIEST front struts I've ever felt, they were beyond shot and one of the springs were broken. The list goes on and on. Luckily I have a 01 regal gs parts car to steal everything from. The previous owner installed a GT trans not knowing they were NOT the same. I personally prefer 2.93s, so rather than just tuning pcm for 3.29s, I switched to an old 15/16ths 2.93 I had laying around and a nice used HD diff setup and tore a shift kit out of another smoked trans core i had laying around. Car has 121k on the clock and runs flawlessly(now, lol). Car is has a thrasher 3.4 mps bolted to a self ported (inlet opened to 75mm awaiting future n* setup, egr divot blended out, outlet opened up, radiused, polished, h bar removed) blower mounted on top of a ZZP from plumbed to a dual pass fmhe. I need to find a set of 42.5 or 60s for a decent deal here soon when I have some extra cash so I can slap on the thrasher 3.0 pulley. Also would like to find an old set of modded rockers cheap, cant afford the newer style ones.Sorry for the long post, just figured you guys might like the story of the junker turned awesome. I'm so excited to drive it. Also, don't bash my diy modded rails, they don't leak a drop and I've made several sets of these in the past with no issues.
