My old girl blew a head gasket yesterday. Great excuse to start digging into it again. Anyone local to the triangle are in North Carolina with a 3.8? I want an L32 but a good L26 or L36 will do.

    Raleigh
    Benson
    Clayton
    Durham
Garner are all areas close to me I would be willing to pick up.

Are you SURE it's the head gasket? These engines aren't really known for that.

Yeah. The worm gear clamp broke on the lower rad hose engine side. It must have leaked some during the day and I didn't realize it. Went to go home after work and the engine overheated. Put water in and it kept pushing back out.

What are you looking to spend? I have my 07 GTP listed for sale, but I might consider parting it for the right price.
    I'm in Norfolk, VA.

Well I just closed on a new house and getting moved in and all of our stuff hooked up has cleaned out my play budget. I'm hoping to get away with finding a working L32 for under $800 if I have to pick it up. If not I'll just keep the car NA, demod and sell it.

Ah. I would want to sell the engine/harness/ECU for about $1500.
