    I plan on getting one of these soon whether new or used. Hopefully someone is selling one used for a good price.

    What's so special about it? If you want it for the drain plug, Dorman makes a steel one with a drain plug for like $30

    plus the alum zzp's ones were terrible about stripping threads. ..id get a steel one and tack some pipes to the bottom

    I could do that. I'm buying it for the cooling fins not the drain plug. By the time I bought the pan, a welder, and materials to make fins I would have been better off with the aluminum pan

    Do the cooling fins really cool the trans that much?
