What kind of female 8-pin connector does it have? If it has a purple inside base I can't use it. The one that fits should have a black base inside. I might have a '04+ harness, I don't know everything the previous owner did but I tried one from my old '00 with the purple base inside the connector and found out the two connectors have the pins spaced differently.
