Looking for a 4.2 inch pulley. Would consider a 4.0. Let me know if you have one for sale. Thanks.

91 octane is the only easily available premium fuel here. Seems like I'm still getting KR with my stock 06 GT with 91. I just want to be able to hit WOT on 91 without worrying about KR. I'm open to ideas, suggestions and learning...

KR on a stock engine is normal, Ive had three of these cars now each one had kr stock at wot. 3-4* is normal, anything else and you may want to buy some exhaust mods (power log, down pipe, headers etc) and clear it up.

The reason you can only get 91 is your altitude. The higher you go the less the octane requirements are. Anytime you get much over 1000' you will notice that the stations do not carry anything other than 91 and 85 for regular.

I get why we only have 91 octane here. I'm pretty sure boosted cars don't care about altitude. Wouldn't my car see KR above 4* using 91 octane?

My thinking was that with a 4.0-4.2" pulley I could eliminate KR on 91 octane fuel, and still have similar power output to a 3.8 pulley, 91 octane and more KR.

fvck slowing down the sc id put a set of headers on it and go from there. even some 200 dollar headers is better than the stock junk.
How I treat my car: wreck, fix, repeat.

The bad part is, $200 headers suck on a daily driver. If you just want a fun daily driver, I'd leave the exhaust stock and put on a bigger pulley.

Smoothflow pullies can make whatever pulley size you like, so I would contact them.
