Remove old spoiler, test fit new spoiler, mark for holes, drill holes, install spoiler.

And being that you car is 17 years old, that stock spoiler will have trapped dust and dirt under there for years and years and likely eating away at the paint. And you'll have holes in the decklid now from the old stock spoiler and those will need to be filled. So you're going to want to repaint the whole decklid during this process.
