    Yeah, But if I do that, then my headlights are on all the time. So what you are saying is that the sensor and auto system was obviously designed for the halogen head lights not HID, thus the issue and ne remedy?

    No matter if you have HID or Halogen, your lights are on all the time unless you manually turn them off like Russosaur said. I have halogens and I absolutely abhor DRL's so during the day, I turn the headlights off when I put my car in gear or just turn on the driving lights which turns the headlights off and the parking lights on.

    It's your choice what you want to do, I just gave you the quick easy solution for your problem. There is a write up out there for disabling the DRL.


    Totally N/A - Mods: 18" Mustang GT wheels, leather scented air fresheners, medallion hanging from rearview mirror, custom tool box holder in trunk, and air horns in place of the factory honkers.
