I just received my 4 Morimoto mini projectors. I'm planning on retrofitting 2 into each side of my 99'. I plugged and sealed the 3157 hole in my large turn signal already hopefully this goes as well as I imagined it. I'm skilled at fiberglass if I need to get into that.

Anyone every done/attempted this? I'd like to see some results.

Will get pictures of my progress as it goes on.

You would have been better of getting dual Xenon HID's in a single headlight fixture with moveable cut off. It takes so long for the lows/highs to warm up and deliver the light they are supposed to, the high/low cutoff would have been a much better choice.

Unless the projector is a bi xenon, he would have like quad retrofit like 04 guys do. Subbed because this sounds awesome good luck fitting 2 projectors In them!

Well it's going to be a lot of work but I'm sure you can pull it off just take your time don't rush. If it was me I would run one set of low beams and then set the other set to come on with a switch are something that way when necessary you can have 4 low beams.. The high beams on the mini h1 might not work to good since the 97-03 housings are pretty small, there might not be enough room for them to really be any use but of course you'll see if that the questions once you throw them in.

Will be getting pictures going shortly....

Waiting on my new Dremel tool to get here!

Plan is to have the projectors in the old turn signal on a separate switch.

Yup you got your work cutout. I probably would of just grabbed a set of matchbox projectors and use those in the smaller area.

    Two questions.....

    1) Why?
    2) Where did you put your turn signal?

I'm guessing the answer to #1 will be "because I can".

#2 is what I'm wondering. Although I think it's unnecessary I think it's a cool idea and want to see how it comes out.

I thought he was going to do both in the main headlight housing, it would take a bunch of cutting but its probably do able.

My far corner 194 signal is sufficient enough. I wanted to see if it could be done and I like tinkering with things.

Looks pretty cool, I'd like to see the end result. And woa, good thing your nail was there to stop what looks like a razor from cutting any further huh? Okay enough cringing stuff on GPF today for me. I've had my fair share of razor cuts but that looks deep.

That looks good. Do you think the inside part of the corner lamp will interfere with the light output?

The projector isn't in there permanently yet. I tested them and when I set it in there for good it should have no interference!

I saw that pic of your finger on FB, that looks like it hurt a lot. I really wanna see output from the project or in that corner. Seems like it sets far back. Keep us updated its looking awesome

I like it. I always wondered how a projector would look inside the corner lamp housing. Personally I'd think about throwing amber angel eyes on the corner projector and regular white angel eye on the headlamp projector, something Drunkie did, except it was never done on the 97-03 GP afaik.
