So I just got my new wheels on and then started looking at my car and decided, You know what? I need to remove these pinstripes. A heat gun and then some isopropyl alcohol and two hours later here you go

One last picture outside (love the way silver shines and changes shades

    And now the good stuff

    No more stripes

Also decided to test out my roof rails ( i am still thinking of painting them to match the car )

    Another Angle from behind

If anyone is thinking of removing pin stripes DO IT

Looks much better without the pin stripe.

Leave the rails black, if you paint them to match they don't stand out and they blend in to much with the car.

Yes, get a heat gun, run it along the area you want to remove. Keep it about 2 inches away and only do about 12 inches or less at a time. Once youve heated all the glue off, it should pull off with your finger nails. Next, get some isopropyl 90 percent alcohol and rub it with a terry cloth or microfiber cloth till you get the glue marks off and repeat a few times. This should get you the results you are looking for.
