As other members said, blue and led means no for the exterior unless you're parked (at least here). That's kinda asking for it if you're not a cop...

Not surprised in Wisconsin.
How's that possible. My brothera gen coupe has blue led fog lights from factory. I put white LEDs all around. They give off a hint of blue anyways. You can fight that at least if you buy white

You do realize oem installed lights are way different then something you install yourself right?
Yes I do but 6k lights are almost common around here. Cops only pull you over if your liscense plate is blue and if your lights are purple

You can't fight something that is not dot approved. If it's oem guess what it had to be approved to be produced on that car. Some type of regulation for you.
Throwing blue or white LEDs on a car is completely different then that
Just because cops in your area will seldom ticket you for it doesn't mean it must be ok to do you gotta understand this.
It's like the classic argument over well that Audi has hids why can't my cavalier.. Well guess what that foreign car has projectors and the headlight were regulated by the dot to have them big different between that and a $30 eBay kit.
