The original drivers side door on my 98 coupe was all banged up from a hit and run, so today I decided to replace it. I got the new one installed and bolted up and it opens and closes just fine and it does not seem to sag a whole lot... The problem I am having is that although the door latches, it does not close all the way. I can tell because it looks like the door is still cracked open a bit when closed and I can see the daylight through the weather stripping from inside the car... Is there any kind of adjustment that can be done so that way it shuts completely and seals correctly??? Any and all input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!

There is slop on the door hinges before you tighten them, I'd suggest having someone hold the door level while tightening the bolts, and see what position works.

You may have to adjust the striker, thats the piece on the inside of your door jamb if its not closing all the way you might have to move it IN

The latch seems to work fine though it does seem a little loose
