Well since they don't make halo's for the 04'+ models I decided to make my own. Since I've got an extra set of headlights I'm gonna attempt it, if anyone knows how or knows a place they sell the halos at please let me know. Any advice is appreciated considering I know nothing about making these, thanks ahead of time.

like i said youll need a size specific to your applications, but

eBay Motors: Angel Eye Halo CCFL 95mm super bright WHITE rings (item 170263453180 end time Dec-16-08 21:49:49 PST)

should help. you can get them in almost any color/size.

There are also LED rings that use over 60 LED's. They're even brighter than CCFL's, and usually have a much bluer white color (they can also be ordered in blue, if that's what you want).

Here are some of the options available:
    eas - 714.369.8524 | e2 - aurora 60LED Angel Eye Kit - 3 Series/M3 99-06
    üm•nitza | 925 • 521 • 0577 BMW Angel Eyes | Lexus Angel Eyes | Nissan Daylight Demon Eyes Angel Eyes | Auto Parts

Here's a link to lots of pictures:

As for size, I believe your foglights are 4", but I'd recommend measuring just to be sure.

Warhellride, that BMW with the blue and red ones, I like those blue ones but how much would they cost for my car and how hard would they be do to do?

Man that's not as hard as it looks like. I think I might pick up some supplies this week and try it out. If it works out for me we could meet up and make some if you're interested.

Ok, i know this thread is old, and im new here. But i found that video about a year ago and saved it as a fav, and just found it last week. So i raided a few windows in my house, got some extra head lights off ebay (kinda expensive for a headlight) and made some custom halos!! They look great they are a little over a half circle, just go around the outer pointing curved part. I mounted them by drilling holes and running zip ties than sealing with epoxy. I wired them to a seperate switch in my dash. My only problem is, like when i want to show them off at night, when i shut my headlights off and go to just fogs and halos, i get the stupid "headlights suggested" on the DIC and the annoying beep. But they look real cool. maybe ill get some pics up in a bit.
