Yeah no kidding.. I think that lip is really awesome, but i don't think a piece of plastic is really worth that much, like really.

l67, any chance that you have his name?

I just got really lucky... scored a standard original bumper cover for $75 and the next day got a pair of GXP bumpers for $300 (I'd have gotten the fenders but they wanted $275 each)... downside was there's a crack from the left signal to the bottom (5-6") and another one in the bottom lip just to the right of center... I have to have them painted stealth Grey Metallic (currently they are white) so having my buddy repair the cracks before painting will only add $30 bucks extra over the $300 for painting both bumpers.

Well, I can get my hands on a GXP cracked bumper, but the way the dude talked to me about it didn't sounds so promising. I'm so pulled apart with either the GXP or the lip... but i just cant get over the fact that lip being so much money.

Lips worth it in IMO, well I have the SE and paid something like $30-3500 for it years ago. Completely changed the front end looks I hated the way the 04 look in the front stock

I know, the look of the front end is garbage.. And the way it's held up is a joke. Mine fell off ALL the ****ing time on my GTP, but for $450.00?? That's retarded.. I may as well buy an Aeroforce and still have money left over.

As the saying goes gotta pay to play...either do without it or fork up the money or get lucky and find it used but nothing you can do about the price

true that man. I'm just going to buy the original GT/GTP bumper. $375+shipping. I can only find a new GXP bumper and I'm not giving the dealer $1,000. I'll probably throw light engine mods on the car after I have this thing go through safety. Its just a couple hundred KM short of 100,000 so i think I'm safer to beef up the engine than my last car that had 238,000KM.

that's a sexy price!! haha! your car looks mad good with that stuff on there, but i think for now cause of the budget I'm running on I'll get it looking stock and throw some stuff into the engine and spank some 5L looking like a family car. performance is key in my mind. thanks though, i hope i can find a similar deal to what you had.

if its that easy to bolt a gxp bumper cover onto gtp fenders then could the gxp fenders be used in conjunction with the gtp bumper. not necessarily a permanent thing but i cant see why it wouldnt work

Problem with the PFYC is that they rape you on shipping.

My GT bumpers are getting pretty beat up. Lots of gravel and people who like to rear end you while talking on their phones in my area. Might have to go the GXP route.

Might want to check the prices on GXP bumpers they tend to go for a lot. Then you gotta factor in the parking lights, the fogs and then paint.
