How do you remove the air vents out of the plastic dash piece that just pops off. I'm wanting to paint it silver but keep those grey

in my regal the vents are in a case that slide in and out of the dash, im pretty sure gp's are the same way.

its easier to take the dash panel off with the vents in still, then push them out from behind.

mine just pushed out, theres some plastic nubs that the vets case sits it, it should just need a little force to push it out. on mine from the back you can clearly see the vents in a pod so to say.

I thought I saw before that they are molded in and you have to break them to get them out.

It was in some thread I saw a long while back.
