I know there is a write up somewhere out there on one of the GP forums. I know that you have to split them and somehow get the red inlay out.

will the tinting cover up the damn condensation
    My car doesn't leak oil,
    It marks it's territory.

You can put the tails in the oven at a low temp, don't remember exactly what, for about 15 minutes to soften the glue. Then you gently pry them apart. Then there is a 2 part adhesive to put them back together. Wish I had more on it, but that's all I have. There is a thread on here that talks about it. Hard to find because it's part of another thread. I'll help search and try and find it also.

Yes, tinting them will help hide the condensation, but how much would depend on how dark you go.

Just rememder, by doing this, if you get rear ended, you can be held reliable for it because of altering the light output.

Got on better for you. Found the link to how it's been done. A little different than what I was saying, but hey, whatever works.
