Just finished up my accent ring on my 05 GT. I got the idea from NegativeOne13. so shout-out to him. My car is Graystone Metallic with the silver grill. So I thought that a royal blue accent ring would fit my car.
I started off by taking about 3 or more hours masking off the grill and front clip of my car.

This process was a pain in the butt, but it was important to keep my edges clean and prevent spray hitting my car paint. I continued to mask off the other grill of my car and cover the rest with newspaper.

Now that my car looks like Santa. I was able to lightly sand the exposed grill area and apply about two coats of primer to give the blue paint something to stick to. The next day I came back and applied the royal blue paint over the primer. I put on about three coats to get an even and shiny finish.

I let this dry for about an hour before I removed the newspaper and tape so I wouldn't peal paint off and the end results look amazing.

I was going to pull them out at first, but I didn't want to break any of the tabs that hold the grill in. So I stuck with the safe side.

Not bad. Now you need an arrowhead overlay.

I'm getting the rear pontiac inlay and the pontiac front window decal myself... they have a lot of really nice stuff on there.

Looks good, that reflects the time you invested. RC is awesome for overlays.

Very nice man! I really like the blue, suits the car well.

And yeah, it can be a pain in the butt to get them out but a nice swift pull and should have any problems.

    And smile it's Blacktooth Grin!

Might be time for a matching arrowhead badge.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
