    when i took my cluster panel out to put a face plate in i seen an extra wiring harness and i was told it was for a HUD and ive always wanted a HUD and i was wondering how hard it is to put one in and what i would have to do

    You would have to buy a hud, switches, wiring, and the trim piece for it I believe. Then you will need to cutyour dash to make it work. Well worth your time if you are up to it. I love mine in my GT. Mine came stock so I can't really tell you how to go about doing it. I think there is a writeup somewhere here.

    I've taken my HUD out before. The hardest part is taking dash apart to install or take it out

    It took me about an hour to take my dash apart cause I didn't wanna break anything. But mine also came preinstalled with a HUD but I was having to fix it. So u would have to take it apart and cut ur dash pieces to fit one in. Some people on here have done it and it turns out great

    does the wiring for the dimmer switch come on all gp's without hud since the wiring harness does?

    I don't think that's all prewired. What ever brand of HUD u purchase should come with one

    ok cause i already have the wiring harness behind the cluster panel for the actually hud part i just figured with some luck my car would have the wiring harness for the switch to

    haha newer cars bigger prices sad thing is i was going to buy an 08 gp couldnt imagine how much stuff would cost for that, and im sure i can find that online somewhere
