I got this a hair under a year ago, its the Crimson Red. I have already VHT'd the tail lights, tinted the windows, and all interior lights are LED. I want to do more, like wheels, WISH I could put fogs in it, but not sure what all is entailed, and other things, just not sure what to do. I am putting black racing stripes on it in the spring, and if I do wheels, I want to do black/red or some variant therein. would love to do some engine mods as well. I am on a tight budget, but am DYING to work this thing over.

    Suggestions/recommendations welcome!!

You should visit the 'how-to' section: How To Write-Ups/Tech Tips
Here is one of my favorite threads in that section: http://www.grandprixforums.net/ultim...0-a-49055.html

Right on guys, Thank you!! I feel like such a slacker, I need to get pics of my ride on here...

As a side note, I just went through the entire 'how to' section, and didnt see anything on adding the fogs. Anyone have an idea, or know how?

I had my 07 Base GP and i did the split fogs on it already so its possible to do no doubt. Im thinking about doing the write up but i wont be able to get any pics since i had someone else do the splicing for me. But i can help. What your going to do is hook up fog lights your your parking lamp.

To do the Split fogs on our base you got to get the split fogs that some stock on the GT/GTP on the 04+ GPs. Look for em on amazon they are like 30-40$ for a pair. They will hook right up to you stock wires and fit in the housing no problem. When hooked up the stock fog bulbs wont work obviously since there is no switch for it and no power going to it to turn them on without the switch. However the parking lamps will work like normal. Now the easiest thing to do is get HIDs and wire them to your fog lamps, why HIDs because they are much easier with the relay. SO get a relay harnes and HIDs of your choosing, i chose 3k and that yellow was so bright and lit up the floor pretty nicely but that's your choice.

So here's where its kinda hard to explain since im not the one who did the whole hooking up the fogs to the parking lamps. But i know enough, what your going to do is have the positive relay connect into the parking lamps (Splice em in) and have a ground wire connecting somewhere to the car. the relay should be easy to do once you look at it, i did this a long time ago so i dont know the technical stuff that much but what you are doing is splicing the relay to your parking lamps, connecting one wire to ground, and the other wire to your HID Fogs. When you get it you will be able to figure it out if you know how to hook up the relay, if anything just go to a shop that sells hid and installs them and they can tell you how to do it.

When you all set and done you should have you fogs turn on with your parking lamps and will stay on until you turn of the car or the parking lamps. ONLY DOWNSIDE is that the only way to turn off your fogs is if you turn off you lights, since the switch on the GP goes from: OFF to Parking lamps ON (Thats were the fogs turn on) to Headlights ON, and then visa versa you wont be able to have just your headlights on with out the fogs. Unless i guess you pull the parking lamps fuse out and then drive like that lol but i dont know if i would do that.

Hope that helps and its a good mod when your done cause those fogs are bright when combined with the headlights. Be sure that you check that you have a fuse for fog lamps already in your fuse box in your car. If not you can buy em they are cheap they are just the i think the 10A fuse. Good luck with them and let me know if want a pic of how our 3k fogs looked.

I imagine that they didn't fit because there is no aftermarket for lights for our cars unless you get custom. You could do the 04+ split fogs like mentioned above.

The oem or aftermarket split fogs such as these will fit in the base GP, The only difference in em is they have been split from the middle to place some fogs. Hence the turn "SPLIT FOGS".
