I found this on cardomain, so all credit to nostransam. I feel like this is what the GTO should have looked like.

^^ i agree, but they shoulda made the GTO look less like the cavilier tho haha, as much as i like the gto look they def coulda done bit better, as far as the car by OP, looks badass but shouldnt of replaced the gto
Alas, the GTO was the reason we never got a two door 04+. GM was afraid the GTP and eventual GXP would take sales away from the GTO.
The gto was released before ford and dodge released their mustangs and chargers that were supposed to be retor gm screwed up there they should of made the gto like the 60's gto's
ehh idk, GM still would have ****ed a "retro" gto up imo...it took them awhile to come up with what the 5th gen Camaro should look like....
A "retro" would have still been a failure
If someone made a real 2 door 04+ that would be sweet.
Wait a second, 07 Monte Carlo SS, 2 door, LS4. I keep forgetting about that one.

W Body: 3800+ M90 = 260 CHP, FWD. Le slow.
V body: LSx, 350-400 CHP, RWD, two doors, awesome interior. Le win.
If a gto looked like that i definitly would'nt own one. A gto is a holden monaro not american, its aussie
Yes. We all know that. But Holden is owned by GM, an american company.
There is nothing american about the gto, its almost like calling an acura american
theres nothing american about GM except the name. its multinational with main stuff being developed in europe (opel) and korea (chevy/daewoo).
thats what my gp will look like someday in the far future
