Nothing but problems with every 3.8l i've ever owned, Honestly i can never blow them up, but everything around the block fails.

I love my GTP but i have spent so much money on this pos, i could of bought a kenne bell blower for my camaro or an l32, and would of been so much more worth it.

i have had the gtp for 4 years now, i drove it for 2 years, i developed a coolant leak, thought it was my Throttle body spacer, wasn't. Changed the intake gaskets, Nope, changed the intake manifold, Nope, Blocked the supercharger coolant ports, nope, Changed the head gaskets NOPE.

I have done everything with this ****ed up motor, and now i am selling the car. I am NOT parting it out, Im just selling it. I hate it. Hate HATE HATE it. its a shame i'll never get to drive the car anything more then when it was stock...

maybe one day i'll upgrade to the newer 3.8's but these L67s suck ass.

    --------------------------------------------?????----------------------------------
IF anyone would like to maybe help me that'd be great, I AM getting coolant in the intake manifold somehow. Inside where the AIR IS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!

I have blocked the coolant ports for the blower. gone with the aluminum ZZP intake gaskets. What else could it be, If i rev the dog piss out of the motor it burns the coolant away and then it runs smoke free for around 30 mins then comes back or if i let the car cool down.

I have posted the car on craigslist, If the car sells before i fix the issue, then so be it. But i'm still hoping i have a chance to fix this damn car.

lol Those motors suck just as bad.

I just want to see if this car is any good still.

Anyone know if possible if a head or block is cracked somehow?
It started 2 years ago during summer time. it started smoking really bad out of no where.

3.5's suck. idk about the 3.9's. they don't seem all that impressive. the LNF seemed to be the best of GM's latest engineering moves. but since corporate has their heads up their asses they don't make that anymore

Or you could save alot of time and money and just buy a new L67 (well not technically new) and replace the motor. Part out the other one and re-install all your shiz. Thats my idea.
