car has 204k miles. the interior shows its age. i want to restore it to like new.

new carpet, newer seats or seat covers(maybe 04+)

my dash has a small crack above my speedo where my front accessory cover connects to. also door panels are faded and loose.

main question is, can the dash be removed and replaced with a refurbished one? dash as in what my HUD is connected to

apparently yes, its supposed to be a giant PITA.

Mainly why I never bothered to attempt to remove mine.

Find a donor car and find a few diy vids on headliner replacement and doing your own carpet. Probably take you at least a grand to get the inside back to factory freshness.

Dash is not nearly as hard as people think if you can take out the center councel dash surround and take the glove box off you are more than half way done and the bolts are mostly across the front below the trim plate that has the defrost vents and the hud hole. Ill bet you can get the whole thing out in under and hour easy. Along with the interior I've been looking to find all new door seals for door and body side plus trunk surrounds I really need a full set!

headliner is still in good condition.

anyone have experience with those custom fit seat covers on ebay? supposed to be cut to fit your seats specifically. accessory knobs/electronics.

also the precut carpet? cut as a direct replacement. i would rather not keep my leather. unless maybe i can find a nice set for cheap
