I have a 98 4dr gt, I have some projector halos with l.e.d.s, and my halo l.e.d's have burnt out. I'm looking to replace the whole headlight. I was looking at the black crystal, does anyone have them and what do u have to say about them. Here's a pic of the ones I want

I guess no one has them. I really don't see them on to many gp's when I look at them on the internet.

I have them, love them! Mine get a lil condensation when i wash it or it rains etc, but then goes away. Over all pretty good. Had to use some foam tape underneath to stabilize it from bouncing, but from what ive heard all aftermarket headlights are like that because of the flimsy brackets.

If you seal the heads and use stock brackets they are completely fine

I have led projectors, they are OK. When I mounted mine I had to removed the stock brackets, it would fit with them.

How is your visiblity with the crystal blacks? And I can't see ur sig on Tapatalk, guess I gotta wait till I get to the laptop

I need to see some in person cuz most pics I see of them are not good. Think I might just opt for ccfl projectors with an h.I.d. kit

Yeah get CCFL's not LED there is a vid on you tube where some guy shows how to install them in a gp and the CCFL's are way brighter than the LED's plus I hear of a lot of people with the LED ones that end up with dead LED's after a few months. Idk where the vid is but there is a post on here somewhere with a link to the vid. Try searching for CCFL vs LED projector headlights.
And imho the headlights in our cars should have been a 1 piece design from the factory not the 2 piece that we ended up with. It just looks smoother on the front of the car to me.

Yeah I'm on my second set of led halos, and it did exactly as u said, twice, 6 months or less and the halos were going out one at a time, they replacement led blind for them, but it cost like $50. I needed 4, so I might as well get a new set of lights!

I took a pair of stockers, opened them up and painted them black to look like the ebay one's and then I just purchased the depo black corners with the clear reflector. Just be warned that the ebay black headlights have a smaller chrome reflector. That is why everyone goes HID's in them. I realized this after I painted the stock set on my brothers car.
