so i know i want to re do the body of my car, but i would rather get my engine running about 300 hp first. but here is an idea i had in mind.
i want your opinions on how you think it looks, riced bland whatever you wanna throw at me, and how much would you think it would cost, granted i got things done nicely, like professional tint, powdercoating and paint. Finally, excuse my poor photoshop work, only got a few hours of sleep, and yes that's my other car in the background

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

Also the front fascia would be black like the read one, and the headlights would either be black Spyder ones, or just smoked stock with clear corners
and the rims should be more of a metallic gunmetal black... whoops

I see no difference in the van..XD

As far as color, I like it. Tinted tails, different tips, bigger rims that you can incorporate the body color into somehow (lugs, rivets, lip, etc).
Shave the door moldings. SLP gen 1 spoiler, roof rails, SPO grills to match the fascia, and an F1 hood.

    Then worry about going fast.

Im probably one of the only people that doesnt go in the peformance direction. I want my car to look amazing and show performance all over but its actually slow as f***. Ahhh yes, i like that.

Meh, I sorta did mine at the same time.

Either way, the way I figure is, make it look awesome, and then you'll be happier dumping even more money into the performance side, than having a 'plain-jane looking grand prix' and having 2k in it, and not wanting to spend more money on it.

    Performance wise.

Built trans tend to run what, 1k-2k or so?

<--rocked a stock tranny with actuator shims, and raised line pressure. Held up fine to my little 3.4 setup, and would spin some hitting 2nd

That looks like a slick colour, good luck replicating that IRL.

the tails have a purple tone to them because of the shop, but i like that look with the grey..

Subaru and BMW both make colors almost identical to this, plus I have a custom paint shop just like 15 minutes away that works magic on all their cars

Well do you think I could get the entire car redone in the green? There are way too many paint imperfections to make touch up a viable option
