Just wanted to see everyones thoughts on taking the badges off my GXP? I have no other visual mods except for window rain gaurds. I like the idea of taking off the badges because some people will be suprised on how fast my "grand prix" is or how loud it is. It gives it the sleeper look. Has anyone done this to their car? Just want to see what everone thinks about it

People will think you have a SE GTP like mine lol.Same spoiler, similar rims, and and even the exhaust tips are nearly the same. Then all of a sudden they hear a V8 and say "wtf?" Go for it.

Police might be a bit more suspicious of a debadged car because its hard to identify.

There's a car wash near my house that destroys the mirrors of grand ams (lol) and he asked me if I have a grand am or grand prix... I was a little upset about that. That was after I debadged. So people might start asking you that question.

Yeah and you can also lose a couple pounds by removing all your wheel weights to.. LOL and it makes your wheels look cleaner, unless you have those stick on weights on the inside of your rim. Those are a B**ch to get to!!!! LMAO

i dont have stick on weights inside my rim, or weights on the outside, i have regular wheel weights on the inside of my rims so they are hidden

WHAT WAS I THINKING?? That explains a lot though.. LMAO

NICE on the wheel weights on the inside only, gotta ask them to do that for you at the shop. Usually the tards they have balancing rims (atleast here) just don't care and just put them on either side. You'd be pretty pissed I imagine when they pulled your car around and you saw weights on your wheels.. LOL
