I have HID fogs and for some reason the passenger side fog light has now burnt out/stopped working twice before my drivers side has burnt out. Another grand prix owner at my work has the same problem, any thoughts on whats causing this? They are both 2004 grand prix's. Thanks for the help in advance!

Are you using a harness for power or the stock wiring?

if you dont have a harness then they will keep going bad. it happens to alot of people that dont want to buy a 7 dollar wiring harness.

To be honest I am not sure because the owner before me put them in, what would the harness look like? Also where would it be connected to?

the harness connects straight to your battery with an in line fuse not from you oem harness well only one side connects to you oem plug to gain control from your switch the balast connect to the bulb and to a relay and the harness has ground wired for each one. it draws power straight fro your batter making you bulbs brighter and last longer. so if anything goes wrong the will go first instead of your hid componets.

for your fog light i would reccomend this harness Car HID Xenon Conversion Harness Fuse Relay Wire For H8/H9/H10/H11/880/881 | eBay

this is the one i got and its made pretty well good connections and evreything is heat shrinked.
the only thing you might have to do is you might have to lengthen the battery wire because it is a little short

Oh that actually makes a lot of sense now, I am glad it will also take care of the dumb flickering problem. I am assuming that I will need two of these because my low beams are HID's also, am I correct on this or do I only need one?

you need 2 harnesses 1 for headlights and 1 for fogs. the harnesses arent connected to eachother in anyway they are 2 separate wiring looms. the flickering might go away but it couls also be your ballast what kind of hid's do you have?
