5-6k
Not cheap.. More than the car is worth
Im not a half bad painter, so what if i do all the prep work myself this summer and buy some decent quality automotive paint and do it myself with a HPLV gun. Im repainting it the same color which is white so im feeling i could do a pretty decent job. What do you think? Paint it myself or have a shop do it for a few grand.
do all the prep work yourself and do the presidential @ maco prep work is the most important part of any paint job.
I've seen some Maaco paint jobs come out quite nice actually....
for 99.95 you got what you paid for, zero prep work, just paint, and out the door. looked like crap too.
worse than Macao if that's possible.
and macao does suck, they dont do prep work right at all, they cut every corner possible too. but then again what do you want for a 300 dollar paint job?
yea i have too, my neighbors car got painted there 4 years ago and still looks nice. if you take car of the car it should be fine maaco is single stage thats why its cheap. but he did the prep work they suck at that ill have to admit
Exactly... the OP said he's doing his own prep work... then again, he wants a color change too... that's going to come down to his individual Maaco. Some Maaco painters take pride in their work, some don't give a damn.
Yeah i just cant afford to spend a few grand after i spend the 1,000 on the hood spoiler and air dam. Yeah i for sure want a BC and CC just so i cant wetsand their flaws out later on if needed. What are there prices for the base and clear? any clue
