I got bored and had a few feet of red LEDs left over...

Single strip in the tops of the center grills and the same in the lower valence.
    With parking lights:

    Parking + fog:

    Low Beams + fogs:

I wasn't saying that I was the first. Just saying that I was bored and did it because I thought it'd look good.

Just put them in tonight, but as long as I don't have them flashing I should be fine. (they're on a flasher module controlled by a key fob)

the roll is just over 16 feet long, it was enough to do some lighting in the trunk, the grill, a '4th' brake light under the deck lid, and still have a few feet left over.

How did you wire them and to what? I would like to do that to my 07 but just like to the lower valence, maybe.

mine are wired to a switch panel with the others for my lights, inside the car.
ran a power wire up though the dash/door jam and down the left front fender jam and put in though a hole in the frame and across the top of the core support and found just a random bolt to us as a ground
i got a pic that shows the front, ill see if i can find it

I see it, im thinking about doing this maybe. Most likely not but if we do ill post it, Thanks for the info and pics and that looks awesome. If i were you i would make the ones in the grill light back and fourth (Side to side) to make it like Knight rider.

I thought about doing that to the top grille only, but I didn't think it would be worth the effort. I can see here it would be worth the effort; I'll try to rig up something custom with the white LEDs I have.

the problems i found with the knight rider look is that, you would have to have 2(just for the uppers), have more wires to run and because those holes arnt round, the strips dont make a perfect half circle around the top and it wont look right with the lights moving side to side because the light reflects off the honey combs that just throws it around,
if anything the lowers light would be better with those strips because they can lay flat and theres nothing in front of them to distort the light and give the right affect

    I bet $50 you weren't the first.

I'm also doing red LEDs in my grills with red CCFLs with my retros.

    And smile it's Blacktooth Grin!
