So i debadged my car today and all the adhesive is gone but the clear coat has all these little scratches. I was thinking buying Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to buff out the scratches. What do you guys recommend?

I lightly wet sanded the areas with 1000 grit and then buffed out with that Meguiars Ultimate compound.

Reapplying? No, the light wet sand is on the clear coat just enough to get rid of any discoloration or scratches from removal of the badges. Once I buffed it out, it was nice and shiny. I guess I could have waxed it, but it is still shiny now.

What i used was some Mineral Spirits. I had some surface scratches after I debadged and rubbed and rubbed. Smooth as a babys butt and no more scratches. Mineral spirits "ate" away some of the clear, but very very little, and made it smooth. Then I buffed with Turtle wax polishing compound. Man does it shine.

How much would it cost to put a turbo on a 2003 gp gt anyway?
