So spring is coming up and I need new tread for my wheels, Im running pretty much bald tires. I figured I would start looking around for a set of rims for around 500$ and I came accross these :

Do you guys think these would look good on a grand prix?

    They are 17's 225/45/17

they are eagle 077s. they are a super popular wheel from like the early to mid 2000s with people in the scene.

get them if you like them.

    Google is your friend.

They are a little played out IMO. But they work and do look good. But like Mustang Bullets, everyone has had a pair

I had a chrome set in 18's. They look good but the chrome started to peel on the inside. They are a good looking wheel.

Does anyone think that 17's will be too small?

meh, they look good, tires have a meaty appeal. 18s fit better imo but the tires are much lower profile. Just personal preference, I think 19+ are too much for the 97-03 body style.

Good luck finding a set. They've been discontinued for a while and when I looked for a set, I couldn't find a full set in good condition. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places. If that's what you want, do yourself a favor and just pick up some saleen wheels from americanmuscle.com instead. Imo they look better and you can buy them new for the price of those used (most likely).

Also, post your wheel and tire threads in the... wheel and tire subforum. Keeps you and your threads safe from angry mods!

I have already found the set, thats where the picture is from. Its 400$ for the rims with tires that have 90% tread left.

    225/45r17 is way too small.

    225/55r17 would be ideal.
