Thread: Post pictures without side molding

Just wanna see what our cars look like without the side molding.

Not my car, but this will give you an idea. The handles are shaved on this car also, so it makes it look a bit cleaner.

How the hell do you open the door up lol

Door poppers.. check it out.

Was it hard to do? Think i might do it.

gotta weld the holes shut underneath them and repaint the side of the car. be prepared for a huge amount of money to do it.

I like the look on the coupe, but don't think it would look good on a sedan. Nice work though...

Door poppers are real cool, but always worried that if the battery dies, how do you get in to pop the hood latch? lol... just wondering?

you leave yourself a 'secret' manual popper somewhere.

You just reroute the hood release so you can access it from outside the car.

I went the poor mans way of doing it. You can't really tell from these pictures but I have silver decals over the holes. Only in the last two. The first picture was before the decals.

How many holes are underneath the molding?

five holes. and no lie, not even 2 days after I took them off someone dented the side of my car.
