I just fixed some rust that I had on my rear wheel well below the gas cap.... grinded it down and bondoed it... etc etc..

However, I will be unable to re-shoot the rear panel professionally until my buddy has some time in a few weeks. Until then, I'd like to find a black spray paint that best matches the current black color.

I've used 2 different kinds already on a different primered surface with no luck.... they are much too light of black... any recommendations for a dark gloss black? Thanks.

You can go to most body shop supply stores and buy/order factory paint in a rattle can. I've gotten them previously to spray small accessory parts from Body Shop Supply here in Janesville by 5 points.

I think I want to stick with spray paint rather than brush it on... anyone know of any good supply stores around Brookfield/Milwaukee Area in Wisconsin?

Lowly - where is that store in Janesville? I go to school in Whitewater so I could prolly stop by there sometime.

    Thanks.

Here is the one I always use, but haven't been there in a year or two, so you might wanna call. I know a couple times they had to order from the one in Madison. The one in Janesville is located across the street from Walgreens at five points (intersection of West Court St, Center Ave., West Milwaukee St, and Centerway St.).

The others I've never been too or used, but you can check them out.

Dupli-color makes touch up paint in the spray can. Just get your paint code and match it up in there book and it should give you a number for the matching paint. Should be able to find it at any auto parts store.

straight black is straight black if it's too light it needs more coats (cheap primers will absorb paint like a sponge, they do the same with water so make sure it is covered)
